That we must not believe in a thing said merely because it is said; nor traditions because they have been handed down from antiquity; nor rumors, as such; nor writings by sages, because sages wrote them; nor fancies that we may suspect to have been inspired in us by a Deva (that is, in presumed spiritual inspiration); nor from inferences drawn from some haphazard assumption we may have made; nor [XVI] because of what seems an analogical necessity; nor on the mere authority of our teachers or masters. But we are to believe when the writing, doctrine, or saying is corroborated by our own reason and consciousness. "For this," says he in concluding, "I taught you not to believe merely because you have heard, but when you believed of your consciousness, then to act accordingly and abundantly."

I would highly recommend listening to John Rays 'Healing Crisis' Audio Lecture and also getting a copy of his book 'The Patient's Guide to Body Electronics' before getting started on a heavy Body Electronics program. They are a prerequisite for having a consultation and will answer many questions and fill in a lot of the blanks about BE. They will provide some very crucial information relating to BE and why some things should not be taken lightly with the program and pointholding. Please also read all relevant information on BE on this site as well as the Web in general , this will give a very good introduction into the subject.

One thing I would say regarding BE is that it is not a race to the end, but rather, a gradual unfoldment of many levels of mastery, starting first of all with the Physcial Body and then moving into the Emotional and Mental Bodies. There is no magic bullet and no 'quick' way and I think that any program needs to be placed under the hammer of discernment on the anvil of impartiality in order that a proper understanding may be attained.
